Subscribe to List Server

Based on a request from the Association a list-server has been created to enhance communication not only of MMA activities but appropriate incidental information such as training, workshops, seminars and additional conferences within the mapping discipline.

How To: Subscribe and Unsubscribe from a LISTSERV list.
Solution:
Send e-mail to listserv@lists.missouri.edu with either subscribe or unsubscribe in the body of the message.

Subscribing and Unsubscribing 

• Subscribe:
  
  1. Send e-mail to listserv@lists.missouri.edu. Leave the subject line blank. Remove any tag lines or signature files.
  2. Type in the body of the message:
     subscribe list_name first_name last_name.
  3. EXAMPLE: subscribe MissouriMappersAssoc-L@po.missouri.edu John Doe
• Unsubscribe:
  
  1. Send e-mail to listserv@lists.missouri.edu. Leave the subject line blank. Remove any tag lines or signature files.
  2. Type in the body of the message: unsubscribe list_name.

NOTE: LISTSERV will automatically pull your e-mail address out of the message; you don't need to include it. You must always send messages to the list from the original e-mail account you used to subscribe.
